Education

Education Overview

The popular Eureka Education Program is currently operating from the Art Gallery of Ballarat.

Participating in the Eureka Education Program is a unique experience for students studying the nationally important events associated with the discovery of gold at Ballarat and in particular the Eureka Rebellion which occurred in December 1854.

Students can experience all the tensions and drama associated with this important event in Australia's social and political history.

Eureka Education Staff provide a range of activities useful to all year levels from Primary to upper Secondary and Tertiary. The programs offered are designed to satisfy the requirements of the Victorian Essential Learning Standards and the curriculum requirements of the educational organisations in other states and territories.
